CamTeX x CUPS Workshop - Introduction to LaTeX!

We hosted our first collaborative event with the Cambridge University Physics Society (CUPS) with an introductory session aimed to bring users with little to no experience up to a standard where they can produce their own lab reports, supervision work, or anything else with the word processor of choice in academia.

The event was hosted on CUPS Timeout, we had a peak attendance of 51 users in the call. We received strong feedback on the session, backed up by a number of attendees joined as CamTeX members following the event.

Additional resources specific to physics were distributed for the event, including 5 ‘cheat sheets’ to aid users with more advanced topics beyond the scope of the session.

The event was a real success, and we look forward to collaborating with CUPS and other Cambridge societies in the future!
